Indication This drug is a D vitamin, it is for the treatment and/or prevention of vitamin D deficiency. Contraindications Do not take this medication in the case of: - allergy to vitamin D or one of its constituents - hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), kidney stones Overdose To avoid any overdose, take into account the total amount of vitamin D or other treatment containing vitamin D. Signs of an overdose: - headaches, tiredness, loss of appetite, weight loss, slow down in growth - nausea, vomiting - abundant urine, intense thirst, dehydration - kidney stones, tissue calcification in particular in the kidney and vessels - renal insufficiency. Biological signs of an overdose: - increase in the level of calcium and phosphor in the blood and urine. In case of an overdose: stop treatment and drink a lot, limit calcium intake (dairy products) and consult your doctor. How to use Orally. This drop-counter bottle comes with a security lid. Press firmly down on the lid, unscrew the lid whilst still pressing down. Turn the bottle completely and drop the solution onto a teaspoon without shaking the bottle. Swallow ZymaD in its pure state making sure nothing is left on the spoon. ZymaD can also be taken on a spoon with other liquid-type foods (porridge, compote, purées or liquid (fruit juice)). Do not heat or boil or put it in food that is too hot.
